*Reservation UPDATE*
It is with a heavy heart that we share some unexpected news: Candles on Tap will be closing its brick-and-mortar location doors. This decision was not made lightly, and while circumstances beyond my control have brought us to this point, I am deeply grateful for the journey we’ve shared together. While this decision was not easy, it marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for us—we are moving fully online and moving our location!
From the day COT opened (in 2020 nonetheless!) it was my dream to create more than just a business—I wanted to build a space where people could come together over handcrafted candles and meaningful connections. You made that dream a reality. We even had a proposal in the shop! So many rad businesses had us make candles for their clients, and even the endless times we held off-site events…wow, the memories!
To every person who visited, purchased, shared kind words (477 5 Star Reviews), or supported us in any way: thank you. You are the reason COT became such a special part of the Encinitas community. Your encouragement and loyalty have been the fuel for everything we’ve accomplished.
This closure does not diminish the joy and gratitude I feel for the memories we’ve created together. While this chapter is ending, I hope the light we’ve shared will continue to shine in the connections we’ve built.
