The entire process of smelling, selecting your jar and scents, designing your label, and creating your custom-scented product takes about 30 minutes.  Candles then take 90 minutes to curate (cool down) before they are ready to take home.  This is a great time to visit one of our neighbors for a bite to eat, a drink, or do a little walking around the neighborhood for some shopping.  Candles on Tap is located in the beautiful walkable neighborhood of Little Italy, bursting with local charm! 

Reservations are not required for groups under five - simply stop in any time to start your fragrance journey!  We are open 12pm - 8PM Monday - Saturday and 12 - 5PM on Sunday.  To make a reservation for groups of five or more, please call or email us at info@candlesontap.com!

What are Candle on Tap candles made of? Our candles are a combination of soy wax and our enticing fragrance oils. They are FDA approved, cruelty free, vegan, and made with Non-GMO material - sourced right here in the USA. 

What is the price of this experience, and what is included? At Candles on Tap, your experience includes candle wax material, a vessel of your choice to hold the candle, a step-by-step process by our scent stylist, a fragrance wall of 80+ scents, and a guaranteed good time! 

How long does the in-store experience last? The experience can last between 30 minutes and an 1.5 hours. Candles need to cool for 90min, and in this time our guests usually enjoy near by restaurants, or stay for a glass of wine/beer in store. 

Can you host in any space, or just my home?

 We can host in all different kinds of spaces, not just your home! Reach out to us directly to find out more.  

WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS OF OPERATION? 

 Our normal hours of operation are Monday - Saturday 10am-8pm and Sunday 11am-6pm.

IS THERE A SITTING FEE FOR THE EXPERIENCE? 

No, there is not a sitting fee. The experience is complimentary. So the price of your product is the price you pay for the experience.

IS THE EXPERIENCE KID FRIENDLY?

Yes. We welcome all ages! We do ask the parents for one on one supervision for children.

CAN I BRING MY OWN VESSEL TO MAKE A CANDLE?

No. We provide vessels that have been tested with our wicks to ensure optimal burn time and quality. Outside vessels cannot be filled as we cannot guarantee how they will burn or even if they are safe to burn.
